About the Sendai 3/11 Memorial Community Center

March 11, 2011

Thinking about the future, talking to each other, and expressing oneself freely, while facing the past again, looking back at things so far, with that day as the originthe day that, with a great pain, awakened many important things within us.

In addition to being a place to study and learn about the Great East Japan Earthquake, the Sendai 3/11 Memorial Community Center is also a gateway to the Eastern Sendai coastal areas, which were severely damaged by the tsunami. It constitutes a base for weaving wisdom and lessons through communication, with memories and experiences as vehicles, connecting them to the future and to the world.
